J. Ottaway was founded in 2021 by British Menswear Stylist and Image Consultant, Joe Ottaway. With clients from the worlds of finance, business, international sport and entertainment, Joe knows menswear better than most, and founded the brand to provide the modern man with a comfortable and elevated wardrobe of timeless staple pieces that can be worn from year to year.
An Essex boy who started life as a semi-pro footballer, Joe has worked his way up through the ranks of men’s fashion, personal shopping and styling, having worked in some of the biggest luxury department stores and e-commerce sites in the industry. With twenty years’ experience under his belt, a regular on the front row of Men’s Fashion Weeks, and often featured in GQ’s best dressed lists, Joe knows how men want to dress.

Based on a capsule model, with a limited number of units per drop, J. Ottaway delivers timeless, contemporary menswear. The modern man wants to feel confident, dress well, and look sharp, but doesn’t always have the time to dedicate to perfecting his style.
Each J. Ottaway collection is designed as a capsule collection of seasonal staples to make this easy, allowing you to shop effortlessly and with confidence.
THE AUTUMN WINTER 2024 COLLECTION
With the launch of our third collection, we have continued to focus on our brand DNA of timeless everyday essentials, designed to be effortlessly introduced into your existing wardrobe.
AW24 has been carefully curated as an outfitted, seasonal wardrobe, allowing the J. Ottaway man to dress both for comfort and style. Designed with ease, functionality and season in mind, our AW24 collection is made with the finest premium fabrics from Britain and Europe’s leading mills.
We welcome a slightly more sartorial focus this autumn with tailoring designed to be worn in a more relaxed way. These pieces can be worn as separates and can easily mix with the rest of the collection to create a variety of different looks.
“With this collection I wanted to build on the J. Ottaway Autumn Winter wardrobe and enrich it with some more elevated tailoring. I designed the tailoring within the collection to be worn as separates, and can be styled easily with the wider collection. The grey double breasted blazer works perfectly with the drawstring trousers and chambray shirt for example. I loved building on our brand silhouette and adding some newness to the mix.”
